Paqui Chips
I have always enjoyed tortilla chips and would even order them at certain restaurants because I just loved how they would make them. But doing it that way is costly and time consuming especially when your kids enjoy the chips as much as you do. When you go to purchase tortilla chips at the store it is amazing the different types, textures, shapes, and flavors there are. I personally love the spicy flavored ones.
Paqui is gourmet tortilla chips, which were inspired by the Aztec's. Paqui started with handcrafted tortillas, which they spent time and effort in perfecting the perfect taste. Paqui hand roasts its jalapeno, and uses fresh juice from cilantros. With so many people leaving happy they decided to make a chip, when they started to make the chip they again looked for the best way. Paqui looked to the Aztec way, cooking corn and stone grinding it to make fresh masa. The result....... amazingly yummy wonderfully thin Paqui Tortilla Chips! Paqui is the Aztec word for Happy!
Paqui has many flavors of their tortilla chips, some are Wild Wild Ranch, which has zesty taste to it. Cool Salsa Verde, a yummy lime like taste which for me taste like cilantro. Nacho Cheese Especial, which is in the name a cheesy goodness, and Haunted Ghost Pepper. Okay so our family seems to be a hot and spicy type when it comes to chips and well the Haunted Ghost Pepper, wow. If you have ever had the ghost pepper you would know its not for the faint of heart, it is super spicy and sticks for awhile. Well the chips are exactly like that, so if you do dare, make sure to have a glass of milk or something to help calm the heat :)
There are many many more flavors of the Paqui Gourmet Tortilla Chips but these were the few which I was able to enjoy with the family. What also makes the Paqui brand stand out is they are GMO free, nut, soy, and MSG free!
