Linda's Lollies: The Original Gourmet Lollipop

Linda's Lollies

Linda’s Lollies Gourmet Lollipops were born by accident – literally.  In 1984, Linda Harkavy, the future founder of Linda’s Lollies, was driving along the back roads of South Carolina when she had a terrible accident and sustained serious injuries. But fortune came out of misfortune: In need of a job that she could manage during her recovery, Linda happened upon a woman who ran a stovetop lollipops business out of her own kitchen. As Linda recalls, “She was ready to retire and I was looking for a business I could manage on my own schedule.” And so Linda set to work on an idea that was a lollipop revolution: 50 different exotic and delectable flavors, many of them never before seen in a lollipop. And thus the very first gourmet lollipops were born.
