Garrett Popcorn at Home!

When I used to live in Las Vegas, one of my favorite places to stop when I was out, was at a Garrett Popcorn Shop. The small of the fresh popcorn in SO many flavors was awesome! I really miss Garrett Popcorn, but I am super excited to be able to order all my favorites online.

Earzings- A New Concept in Pierce Free Earrings!

Recently, Elizabeth has been wanting to know what it's like to wear earrings. She sees her mom wear them and knows mommy feels "pretty" with them on, and as much as she wants to experience it too, she is NOT getting her ears pierced at almost 5 years old.

EarZings are not your grandmothers painful clip-on earrings. They are not magnets either. Instead, they use a patented coil design to gently hug the ear, allowing for unprecedented comfort. Kiss Naturals All Natural DIY Craft Making Kit's

I was a tom boy growing up and I never was into much of the "girly" things like make up, nails and so on, but then I had girls and wow they actually really love the "girly" things. I find myself becoming more "girly" in some things and branching out my interest since I have had them, one of the ways I have branched out is Kiss Naturals.

Kiss Naturals has a whole line of kits which you can make your own product. I received 2 of the many kits.
The one kit is Kiss Naturals Glycerine Soap which makes 16 mini decorative soaps. You can pick from 4 different molds which include, a teddy bear, butterfly, heart and flower. Next you pick which color you would like you can leave clear, or use pink and aqua. The kit is recommended for ages 6 and up. I love how super easy it was to use and my kids loved playing with the final product, we even make little gift packs of 3 for family members.

The 2nd kit I received is the Kiss Naturals Lip Balm Kit which is what started the company. The couple had daughters who loved to make crafts and loved their lip balm. After many hours of experimenting, they came up with a natural recipe that the kids could enjoy and was safe when used. From this the brand Kiss Naturals was created. The Lip Balm Kit can make 6 balms 3 which are what you would use your finger to apply and then 3 tubes to roll on lips. The lip balm comes in 2 yummy flavors Bubble Gum and Boysenberry.  This was great for my daughters although they are still young to do the kit itself I helped out and each were able to have one of each and the other they shared with a friend of theirs. The kit is made for ages 6 and up.

Mini Micro Kickboard the Best Scooter for Kids!

My kids love to be outside on their bikes but my younger kids are not quite there yet in learning to ride a bike. The Mini Micro Kickboard is a great product which allows for my younger kids to enjoy the outdoors with their brothers.

#HelloNewMenu at Bonefish Grill

Everytime Bonefish Grill gets a new menu item, we head over as quick as we can. We love everything so far on the menu, and have enjoyed everything new as well. I love that the kids like it (they just wish they had a kids meal steak!). We were recently invited to check out the several new menu items and can't want to tell you about them!

 

The new menu features 4 new appetizers: 

• Bang Bang Shrimp Flatbread
• Twisted Edamame Hummus
• NY Strip Tataki
• Cold Snap Fresh Ceviche

We started off with the Bang Bang Shrimp (of course!) but this time with a spicy sauce and mozzarella cheese on a flabread. This Bang Bang Shrimp Flatbread was the hit of the appetizer sampling! It's spicy for sure, so not for those who don't like a kick, it reminded us all of a pizza, but with our favorite shrimp on top. Definitely delicious!

There are 2 new salads:

• Cilantro Lime Shrimp Salad 
• Watermelon Salad   

There is a new "handheld" on the menu which is:

• Lobster Grilled Cheese

The Lobster Grilled Cheese is what I tried, and it was good. Packed FULL of lobster, and 2 different kinds of cheeses. Its served with a side salad and Lobster Bisque.

The #HelloNewMenu entrees consist of new items including:

• Ahi Tuna Steak 
• Ribeye (with choice of sauce) 
• Kona Crusted Ribeye

As well as the new "Bowls" which include:

• Spicy Tuna
• Seared NY Strip
• Shrimp Pad Thai  
• Fire Roasted Vegetables

The 2 new desserts are:

• Banana Split Flatbread
• S'mores Flatbread

 

We also tried the Cold Snap Fresh Civeche and it was SO good! So fresh and delicious.

Amaretto is one of my favorite flavors. I LOVE an amaretto coffee. For those of you who are not familiar, Amaretto is almond & cherry.

Pinnacle® Amaretto Sunrise

• 1 part Pinnacle® Amaretto Vodka
• 2 parts Orange Juice
• Splash of Grenadine

Mix vodka and orange juice in a glass with ice and sink the grenadine. Garnish with a cherry.
Pinnacle® Amaretto Sour 

• 1 part Pinnacle® Amaretto Vodka
• 2 parts Orange Juice
• Splash of Sweet and Sour mix

Shake with ice and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with an orange slice.
Pinnacle® Amaretto n’ Lime

• 1 part Pinnacle® Amaretto Vodka
• 2 parts Club Soda
• Splash of Lime Juice

Mix in a glass with ice. Garnish with a lime.

Pepperidge Farms for Back to School!

One of my favorite all time products is Pepperidge Farms.

From the day I first purchased the Sourdough bread, I am 90% exclusive to it. It's always soft and fresh. I love that I can buy a loaf and count on it to be exactly what I was expecting.

My kids (really, whose kids haven't?) grown up eating Goldfish Crackers. I know throigh they years it's been so much fun seeing all the new varieties come out, especially the grahams which are sweet like cookies.

Since my kids were toddlers, part of their lunch, and snacks, have consisted of Goldfish crackers. Normally, I make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich on the Pepperidge Farms Sourdough Bread and goldfish crackers.

When we saw the Vanilla Cupcake Grahams in the store, the kids went crazy asking me to include them in their lunch! They are sweet and blasting with a vanilla flavor. Definitely a fun treat (for moms too!).

 

 Let's face it. When the kids are in school, moms need a treat too! I usually keep a bag just for me in the house so I can have a snack with my coffee. When the kids find the bag, I can usually say goodbye to whatever I had left!

Monster Tail by Rainow Loom Review

Since Xander heard about the MonsterTail Rainbow Loom, he has been desperate to try it! He loves being creative and making things..so we knew he would really enjoy this.

I like that with the word "monster" it seems more geared towards boys. Xander has used the Rainbow Loom before, but he gives me everything he makes.

I have always bought lunch meat for my little ones,  and a few months ago, my mom saw me buying a package of Oscar Meyer and asked me what I was doing. What I really love about the Stove Wipes, is that they have a side with a scrubber and a soft side. The scubber side didn't damage my stove, and the soft side worked so well at getting off what the scrubber got up!
