Tabeo 2 Tablet for Kids Exclusively at Toys R Us

With a 7 and an 8 year old, who are undeniably into technology, I knew this year I had to have a tablet for each of them. They both always want to play with mine, and I am getting tired of sharing!

We recently took a trip to see my mom on the train. She lives about 3 hours away, and I knew it would be a LONG ride for the boys, so I decided to pack up the 2 new tablets for them as a surprise.

One of my favorite things about the Tabeo 2, is that right out of the box, there are 30 apps preinstalled. With a different tablet, all games have to be found, ratings checked, reviews read, and then downloaded and installed. The Tabeo does all the work for you by compiling some of the best apps out there for children. 

The Tabeo 2 has 8gb of storage and can be upgraded to 64gb with a memory card. That's enough to hold a LOT of games and apps. 

Riley really loved that the Tabeo 2 has a front and rear facing camera. He took all kinds of silly pictures of himself on the train ride!

Yeah! WiFi enabled! The train didn't have WiFi but I was able to tether my phone to the Tabeo so that the boys could watch Netflix.

Most of all, with the Tabeo 2, I love knowing the kids are safe. For one, all the apps that are available in the TabeoStore are free, so I don't have to worry about them spending money, second, all the apps are already parent approved, so I know they won't be downloading things they shouldn't be.

The Tabeo2 is also very resistant to damage. It hasn't been dropped, but from a friends experience with her son dropping his Tabeo, they said it wasn't damaged at all.
