I know, it seems like an unusual stocking stuffer. Seriously though. I am cheap, and I usually buy the big box of Band-Aids that has different sizes in one box, but just the brown color. The boys are always begging me to buy them the characters, and unless they are on sale, I rarely do. Recently, when I see them on sale, I pick up a box, and on Christmas morning I will be putting them in their stockings. I know they will be excited, even if it's not a typical stocking stuffer.

That night, I told her, it's ok you can just get me a candy bar at 7-11, and the tradition started. I really wanted to fill her stocking too, so she would give me $10 and she would take $10 and we would both go into 7-11 one at a time (always on Christmas Eve) and purchase goodies for our stockings. Mine always had Vienna Sausages, a magazine, and some chips, and ALWAYS toothpaste. I don't know why, but she always did. I remember it well, because it was Colgate.
Now, whenever I see Colgate, I am reminded of my mom and Christmas Eve.
