I am embarrassed to say, I had never tried stuffed clams in my life. I grew up in Oregon, and you would think I would be a seafood lover, but besides shrimp and salmon, I pretty much avoid it.
Recently I had the opportunity to review Matlaw's Stuffed Clams after Casey reviewed them on her blog Theme Park Mama and LOVED them.
I was really weary of them when they came, I have had clam chowder, and I usually pick the clams out. I don't like how tough and chewy they are.

I really like them! I like that they are not too "clammy" they really remind me of a Holiday stuffing, only with a slight seafood flavor. The breading is very buttery and seasoned just right.
