Friendly's New Limited Edition Reese's Football Ice Cream Cake

Since my boys were little, we have always had the tradition of going to Friendly's on their Birthday. My mom and I have always taken them as a special treat, just her and I and the kids. The boys love when they get Happy Birthday sang to them by the staff, and as always, they LOVE the special birthday ice cream.

I have known for a long time about Friendly's take home ice cream cakes, but I have never had one. Recently, we got the opportunity to try a Limited Edition Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream Cake.

The cake was much bigger than I expected!

Handmade at Friendly's creamery in Wilbraham, Mass., this decadent dessert boasts rich and creamy peanut butter ice cream laced with swirls of crushed Reese's® Peanut Butter Cups. Hand-dipped in Friendly's rich chocolate truffle coating and topped with chocolaty crunchies, the cake is decorated with whipped icing in the form of authentic football stitching.

I love that it looks JUST like a football! We shared it during a football game, and everyone was so excited!

As you can see, Xander and Riley were VERY happy we got to try the cake!

The inside was all ice cream! I thought it would be cake too, but this is ice cream and frosting..a TRUE ice cream cake.

Everyone really enjoyed it, and for $14.99 I will be buying more!

You can follow Friendly's on Facebook and Twitter to keep up with their latest news.
