Namaste Foods Review and Giveaway

So, as I have talked about before, we are a semi-gluten-free household. We try to be gluten free completely when we can, just because it's easier, but as I have blogged about before, finding products that those who are not gluten free will like, is not easy. 

I have recently discovered Namaste Foods. 

Spice Cake Mix

What I like most about this Spice Cake mix, besides the fact that it's gluten free, is that it really tastes great, and it makes TWO 9 inch cakes. So when we have Riley's Birthday party in August, we can have a regular sized cake. 

The aroma of this moist, scrumptious cake will make your mouth water but just wait until you taste it! Just add shredded carrot, currants or raisins and nuts if you like for a fabulous carrot cake variation. Get more for your money! Makes Two 9" rounds-not just one!  

Ingredients


 Evaporated cane juice

sweet brown rice flour

brown sugar

tapioca flour

arrowroot flour

rice milk powder

baking soda

salt

cream of tartar

xanthan gum

cinnamon

nutmeg

cloves

This product contains no wheat, gluten, soy, corn, potato, dairy, casein, peanuts or tree nuts. Non-GMO, all natural, no preservatives.

Directions

Add eggs, oil and water. Also makes a wonderful bundt cake. Prepare as directed and bake for 45 - 50 minutes.

I am also really excited about this product.

 
For Christmas last year we got a waffle stick maker, and I have had such a hard time finding a good waffle mix that Riley likes. This one, he loves, and it has no sugar added!

These waffles and pancakes are absolutely delicious! They win the taste test over any wheat waffle and pancake mix on the market. They are light and fluffy with a hint of pure vanilla. Top with fresh fruit and whipped cream or real maple syrup and indulge! Our Waffle/Pancake mix is free of sugar, too!

Ingredients
