Betty Crocker Gluten Free Baking Mixes Something The Whole Family Can Enjoy

Some of my family has food allergies which makes it hard to share foods. But, thanks to Betty Crocker Gluten Free Baking Mixes we are able to have one more meal together.

Betty Crocker has a great selection of most of your favorite cake mixes only now Gluten Free. I have never tried a Gluten free mix before (though Brian eats them all the time) and was curious on how everyone else would take it. I went with the Devils Food because all my family loves chocolate and I also purchased the whipped dark chocolate icing (all Betty Crocker icings are Gluten Free) .

Betty Crocker has a whole selection of gluten free products to choose from like the devils food, chocolate chip cookies, yellow cake, brownies and more. When I started to make the Gluten Free mix I noticed right away that it was easy like a normal cake. Add 3 eggs, water and butter. I poured the mix and noticed right away too that it was lighter than a normal cake mix and seemed to have more sugar, but once mixed it was very thick... more like a brownie mix than a cake.

The Gluten Free Betty Crocker cake mix takes about a average of about 40mins to bake, it smells really good about 15mins into baking. I used a round cake pan which takes 43-48mins but I have it set for 40mins so I can check it and go from there.

The moment of truth.......................do they like it?????   Success!!! My kids ate it up! Finally a new way to have some good family time that everyone can enjoy.

Betty Crocker is offering a nice baking set from Joseph and Joseph to one of my readers, which includes a baking tool set and a cake pan. Enter the rafflecopter below for your chance to win. Contest will end 7/7/13. Open to U.S. residents only.

  1. Since my husband five or my six kids and myself are gluten free everything I fix is gluten free. A staple that I couldn't do without is a basic all-purpose gf flour. With it I can make just about (except bread) anything that I made before we went gluten free. Last night we made banana bread -- yummy.
