With summer approaching and school (yes, even home school!) ending, I am actively looking for fun thing I can do with the kids. One of Xander's favorite hobbies is cooking. He loves to help in the kitchen and cook whatever he can.
I decided to share with you one of my favorite go-to recipes for dessert (or breakfast!)
Kid Friendly Apple Turnovers.
I definitely can't make these without the help of a few Good Cook products.
Good Cook Chopper
Good Cook Cutting Board
Good Cook Sandwich Knife
Good Cook Batter Bowl
To make Kid Friendly Apple Turnovers you will need
- 2 Medium Apples (I like Granny Smiths)
- 2 TSP Cinnamon
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 2 TBSP Butter
- 1 Package Refrigerated Biscuits
Next, we take the refrigerated biscuits, and Xander presses each one out flat, then we fill them with about 1 TBSP of the apple mixture.
My Good Cook products all clean up very well, and we use them for so many different recipes. I am hoping in the summer I can share more with you!
Yumm love apple turnovers, the chopper looks like it would make it better than the normal big chunks I have in mine! Looks like your son had fun helping, good Lil' baker! :)ReplyDelete
