The Penguins Are Back and Better Than Ever at Sea World, Orlando FL!

Our kids are crazy about the penguins at SeaWorld so when they went MIA you could imagine how disappointed the kids were, but no fear they are back and with a bang!

SeaWorld opened its all new penguin habitat which now includes a ride! You go through the different temperatures until your in a nice cool 30 degrees. That's cold!

The new attraction is a huge section of SeaWorld which has a new food court that serves different items like Asian food, deli and your everyday chicken and potatoes. They have seating outside under canopies for eating, which keeps most birds away.

The Antarctica exhibit has a new store which has all your penguin needs from cute shirts that say "Everyday I'm Shufflin'" to cute penguin slippers! In the store they also carry cute Co2 cups that you can create your own, (kind of like a potato head, but a penguin). I made one which I thought represented all my kids and named him Bubbles : ) I can track how much I save in Co2 by the sensor on the bottom of the cup which tells when you use the cup verses a bottle on which you trash. Very cool.

Now on to the ride. The ride is called "Antarctica The Empire of the Penguin" which you can chose "Wild" or "Mild" which mild is more slow going and less spinning and wild is more movement. You start the ride off in a room, which has a cute little video, then you move on to another room and another until your on the ride. As your switching rooms the temperature is dropping so that your body is not in shock when you hit the 30 degrees. The ride takes you all the way to the final spot to which you're dropped off with over 250 penguins.

The new habitat is huge compared to the old one they now have a 16ft the biggest underwater viewing area in the park! It was very relaxing to watch the penguins play underwater and if you stand close to the glass you almost felt like you were in the water with them. When entering the Antarctica exhibit make sure to keep your eyes peeled for the hidden creatures though out the glaciers. I will give you a hint for one its around the drink refill area. : )

Farm to Market Pickles Review and Giveaway

Did you know pickles come in varieties other than "sweet and dill?" I didn't. Until I found out about Farm to Market Single Barrel Pickles.

Yep! That's right. Bloody Mary Pickles.

Sea Salt and Peppercorn

Garlic Baby Dills

and Chipotle Lime.

I had recently convinced Riley to try a pickle on his daily chicken sandwich, and he used the Sea Salt and Peppercorn flavor, and is hooked.

What I like about the pickles is that honestly, they are not that vinegar-y. They are also perfectly crunchy. The sliced pickles are sliced thicker than normal store bought, which is also nice, and I think that's what gives them the crunch.

The Chipotle Lime is my favorite. It has a bit of a kick to it, but without being over powering, and kind of reminds me of a margarita!

On the Farm to Market website you can find all kinds of recipes for each variety of pickle.

I am really excited to try this one.

Chipotle Lime Crab Crisps

What You Need:
1 jar Farm to Market Chipotle Lime Pickles, chopped
48 baked tortilla chips
1/2 cup Best Maid Mayonnaise
3/4 pound lump crabmeat, shell pieces removed
1/4 cup (1 ounce) grated fresh Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons finely chopped peeled jicama
2 tablespoons finely chopped red bell pepper
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon finely chopped celery
1 medium avocado, peeled and diced

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°. Arrange tortilla chips in a single layer on 2 baking sheets. Combine Best Maid Mayonnaise, Farm to Market Chipotle Lime Pickles, and juice, stirring with a whisk. Combine crab and next 6 ingredients (through celery) in a medium bowl. Add mayonnaise mixture, stirring until well combined. Spoon about 1 tablespoon crab mixture onto each chip. Bake at 350° for 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated; top the chips evenly with avocado.

Saffron Road Review and Giveaway

With my husband being Indian. He is really picky about the Indian food I buy, and I buy it a lot. I liked Indian food before I met him, and continue to like it now. Yes, we can both make it, but sometimes it's easier to buy it pre-made.

I have never been a milk drinker.

When I was a baby, I was allergic to milk. I would break out in a rash if I drank it. I don't know what age I stopped being allergic, but my mom never asked me to drink it. So I grew up to hate it.

I remember seeing kids in school drinking milk, and being grossed out. Since I was also a vegetarian, it bothered me that milk came from cows and that the cows were not kept in the best of conditions.

As an adult, I still wont drink milk, but cereal is not good with water :)

Clemmy's Sugar Free Ice Cream Review and Giveaway

Since my husband was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes almost 2 years ago, we have drastically changed our way of eating. No more soda, we drink water instead, no more candy, we go for fruit.

I felt like it was going to be hard enough on my husband to avoid sugar, so if we could all cut back it would help. Plus, if we are all eating the same things, I save money in the long run.

Like right now, we used to buy 2 different kinds of ice cream, one for us, and a low-sugar or sugar-free one for my husband. Honestly, we tried his sugar free ice creams, and they just were not good.
