Veggie Tales The Little House That Stood DVD Review

When I was pregnant for the first time I remember sitting in the waiting room at the OB/GYN, and I saw in the kids section some dancing veggies. I thought that it was some kids show to teach kids about eating veggies, I was so wrong. I found out the name the next time I was in the office that it was called Veggie Tales. Now me and my 5 kids truly enjoy Veggie Tales.

Veggie Tales now has a all new movie called The Little House That Stood which kind of follows the 3 little pigs tale. The one builder builds with straw the other brick and finally the last with sticks. The builders who build with both brick and straw do not care to listen to the book that the best builder had wrote yet the one with straw read it word for word making the best of all.

The idea is that we should read god's word and if we follow it then we can all stand tall and get through anything that comes our way.

The 3 little pigs do make an appearance and so does the big bad wolf in the story of the Three Little Builders.

After the first story in the Veggie Tales tales DVD you have Larry's silly songs which are just that. Fun little songs that the kids are sure to love.  The DVD ends with a fun rhyme which stars Bob as Humpty Dumpty who is the mayor of basically mother goose rhymes so you have fun watching all the kids favorite nursery rhymes come to life as they learn a life lesson of loving and carrying for your neighbors.

Veggie Tales is a great show/movie for all kids of all ages not only does it teach about god it also teaches on how to treat others the way you wish to be treated. All Veggie Tales are ended with a bible verse which helps sum up everything that has been taught in the DVD.

Disclosure: I was given a copy of the Veggie Tales Dvd to help with my review. All opinions are 100% mine.
