Buddy Fruits Review and Giveaway
Ever since my boys were babies, I have tried to get them to eat applesauce. Neither of them wanted anything to do with it. Riley, I understood, he has a sensitivity to textures, and really didn't eat much baby food at all. But, Xander, he should like it, right?
If I could go back and change one thing now that they are older, it would be what I fed them. I would have pushed the new foods more than I did..I was just happy they were eating and didn't push if they didn't want to try something new.
It's really hard to believe Riley is my least picky eater, but he is.
So, one day, when we were in the store, Xander saw these cute little pouches that look like juice boxes. He asked me what they were and I told him it was an applesauce mix. He asked if he could try one and inside I was like "HECK YEAH!!!!!"

He was so anxious to try it, he couldn't wait till we got home, so I let him have it in the car.
He loved it! Oh my gosh, I was so happy...not that I have a hard time getting my kids to eat fruit, that is their main food source, but I was happy that he was trying variety. The more variety he tries, the more he will see he likes new things and try other things too.
Of course, the next day I raced back to the store and bought more. Then, a few weeks later I was contacted by Buddy Fruits asking me to tell you guys about it, and we couldn't have been more excited.
Buddy Fruits sent so many varieties, and I am so happy to tell you that even my pickiest eater loves them all.
Here is what we tried.

This one I actually ate half of, just because it sounded so good, and it was great! I have purchased more to keep in the car on my way to work.

These are SO good, and we love that they are 100% fruit! Nothing else!!

These were Riley's favorite, he said they taste like chips but sweet!
All of the Buddy Fruits products have
- No Preservatives
- No Colorings
- No Artificial Flavorings
- No Gluten
- No Thickeners
- No Lumps

Cardio Tech Blood Pressure Monitor by Ozeri Review
I have high blood pressure.
There. I said it.
I think I am in denial that it's from being overweight. My Doctor told me that it was from stress...maybe he was just trying to be nice.
I know it's from being overweight. Inside, I really do. But, I feel that I am not in that "place" right now to try to start a diet plan. Though my family and I did cut out all fast food a couple of months ago, and we now eat 3 meals a day at home, which is much healthier compared to eating out, so I am taking small steps.
My Doctor told me to start checking my blood pressure 2 times a day while I start the new medication (which supposedly is the dose for a 6 year old with ADHD) so I am not on a high dose of meds, but he wants me to keep track of my blood pressure for the next month or so.
Going to the grocery store to check my blood pressure twice a day is do-able, but it would be a real inconvenience for me and my family, so I started looking for the BEST at home Blood Pressure Monitor out there, and I found this one by Ozeri.
My next favorite feature is that the screen lights up in either green (normal) yellow (pre-hypertension) or red (hypertension).
I received a Blood Pressure Monitor from Ozeri in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

One of my favorite features was that it's completely, 100% digital. All I have to do is wrap the cuff on my arm and press start. It seems to be tighter (not the cuff, but the pressure) than those at the store, but nothing I can't live with.

As you can see, my husband's blood pressure was green (normal) for the top reading and yellow (pre-hypertension) for the bottom reading.
I am loving my Ozeri Blood Pressure Monitor, and I love checking my blood pressure daily from the comfort of my own home.
You can purchase one for yourself here!

American Premium Meats Review and Giveaway!
I am a huge fan of meat! If you're a meat person you know there are many things to look for in meat. You look for color, size, shape, cut and price.
American Premium Meats makes sure to give you all that. I was given 10lbs of pork to review, and I am not huge on pork chops at all because they are always so dry. When I got my package it was nicely sealed and packed in paper with a cooler and ice packs. All the meat was still frozen and I live in Florida so that was some great packaging on their part.

My kids are huge burger fans and they know what they are eating. So we gave them the pork burgers and they could tell they tasted different. They loved them though and even my son Joshua who is the worst of all for being picky loved and ate every bite.
American Premium Meats raises all livestock and feed them only what they grow on their farm, no animals are pumped with hormones everything is all natural.
American Premium Meats is just that. They only serve out the best of the best meat and it's all cut for the perfect meal. Not only does American Premium Meats have pork, they also beef, and lamb. You can purchase products from them in patties, roast, chops, and more. They accept all major credit cards, and even paypal. I will definitely be returning to American Premium Meats for more that was the best meal I have had in some time.
You can see all their products and choices of meat by clicking here.
You can win a 10lb Pork Bundle! Enter the rafflecopter form below for your chance to win, open to U.S. residents 18+ Contest will end 5/18/13

The Parking Spot in Orlando Florida
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of The Parking Spot for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
I remember as a child, my mom and I traveled often, and since it was just her and I, safe airport parking was a must. I also remember her complaining about how much it cost to insure we were safe. Sure, she could park somewhere cheap, but that wasn't a risk she was willng to take.
As a mom now myself, I am loyal to The Parking Spot. It's safe parking at a very affordable price. I know that when my family travels out of town, that we can know our vehicle is in good hands and that someone is keeping an eye on it 24 hours a day. We also love that even if our flight gets in at 3am we will still be safe.
If you are traveling in Orlando, check out Orlando Airport Parking.
Some of the other reasons why I chose The Parking Spot, is that they have shuttles every 5-7 minutes, they are always open, and they take reservations!
RIght now, The Parking Spot wants you to "Show Us Your Spots" which means that if you show them spots, either on a coupon, on your clothing, or just even draw some spots on yourself..you can park for just $5.95 per DAY!
This offer is valid now until November 20th 2013.
Remember, with The Parking Spot, you not only get safe, affordable parking, but also luggage assistance, free chilled water, free USA Today (before 9am), fast and easy check-in and check-out and you can even earn free parking with "The Spot Club".

It's Potty Time, Get Help with Bambino Mio Training Pants
So my daughter is now 3 and I feel old enough and smart enough to start potty training. If you have had a child you know its a huge pain in the butt to potty train, and most of the time the best method is to let them run around in only their underwear. But, if they have an accident, you have a huge mess to clean up.
The Bambino Mio is a gentle soft padded training pant that has a terry cloth inside. So think of it as a cloth diaper only the child pulls up the pants themselves. I was able to test out a pair on Elizabeth. I got a medium which fits a 13-16 kgs (29-35 lbs) child. They fit her great and she loves to wear them.
The first day I had them on her and started to train her, she peed. Which because of the quality they were damp, but nothing that I had to run and get towels to clean up. Also, what was great is since they were damp I was able to have her be stuck in them for a little while so she would feel uncomfortable and learn not to wet herself. I am happy to say after about 4 days of only underwear I have been able to be accident free and she is now potty trained. Even though the pants are for training they still make a great pair of underwear.
The Bambino Mio Training Pants come in 3 sizes and 3 colors, white, red, and blue. The company is Childish Notions which has all kinds of great potty training items along with cloth diapers and earth friendly products. Being I live in Florida we are in the pool a lot so we go through a lot of swim diapers, but Childish Notions has a swim suit which is already diaper friendly which allows for my daughter to be in the pool without a swim diaper! How great is that!

Grammar Oh How Much I HATE It!
I love to write, but I love writing how I talk. I mean really when
your talking are they sitting there spelling out words on what your
saying? NO.
Lets face it English is a Bi*** to learn and thank god I learn most of it lol I still have issues with spelling but I have gotten better over time thanks to spell check. I feel sorry for those who have to learn English its a hard language and from what I have heard its one of the hardest and why is that because we didn't really wanna make are own language we just took words from here and there and called it English.
Okay so things that drive me nuts.
#1 The fact that we have to have 2-4 words spelled different but all pronounced the same.
Example There, Their and They're
Yes they all mean different things like Look over there. We had their birthday today. They're coming at noon.
Okay I get that, but really no offense to those of you who are grammar smart but I really think most of the word doesn't care or they have, well common sense. I mean I don't go off on a friend when they write me a quick email and say, so there having a party you in? I don't think how is she showing me they are having a party. I mean really?!?!?
#2 The silent E omg I really really hate this one! Its like algebra the a+b=c okay so 1+1=2 whoo I solved it!
Like my favorite which I complain whenever on the road is Greene Way really Greene it drives me nuts because we say it as Green but they throw on a e for fun why??? If its not heard why place it there in the first place? lol ahhhh
What is really crazy is that I can spell the words that most can't because they sound like they are spelled but the others I have a hard time, yes it sucks but you know what when something is chasing me or lets say the word is at its end I doubt I will be reading and writing while on the go.
#3 Just simple things like then and than lol Paige my sister is the grammar smart one so she always has to come and proof read my blog post. Which I thank her and it has helped me also get better at what I am doing. Anyhow she finally brought it to my attention that I was using than and then wrong which I always use then maybe once in a blue moon I use than.
So I wrote and say that I always thought that then and than was a northern southern thing like PotAto and Potato or Suger and Sugar, etc ...... so who knew that one means time and other means well other lol.
Yep so that is my rant to how English Grammar SUCKS : )
which of course Paige didn't proof read this one, but hey this is me!
Thanks
Casey : )
And Thank you Paige for helping me with my grammar I know its a lot to take on when also writing the blog post and more! Thanks Sis! : P

My all time favorite drink at Bahama Breeze is the Painkiller. But, since we were here trying new things, Casey and I both decided to be adventurous and we had a BahamaRita (pictured above is Casey's drink).

Here is mine, and my cute little Buggy :-).
After our drinks, the Rice Bowls arrived. I had the West Indies Chicken Curry, and Casey had the Asian Chicken and Vegetable.
The West Indies Chicken Curry Bowl is sautéed chicken, chickpeas and
tomatoes simmered in a traditional West Indies curry sauce with coconut
milk. Served over basmati rice with warm Naan bread and roasted
pineapple chutney.

The Asian Chicken and Vegetable is sautéed chicken, shiitake mushrooms, bok choy, bell peppers and edamame
in a sweet chili and Ginger sauce served over basmati rice and topped
with peanuts.

I was totally in LOVE with mine. Since my husband is from the West Indies, I felt I could really be a good judge of this one, and it was right on with the flavors.
Casey liked hers alot too, but I couldn't get much information from her, because she was so busy eating!
There are a few other varieties of the Rice Bowls including:
- Chipotle Beef - Sautéed beef sirloin, fresh corn and black beans in chipotle sauce served over basmati rice and cheese; topped with sour cream, fresh salsa and ripe avocado.
- Vegetarian Asian Tofu - Sautéed tofu, Shiitake mushrooms, bok choy, bell peppers and edamame in a sweet chili and ginger sauce; served over basmati rice and topped with peanuts.
- Carnitas - slow roasted pork, sautéed with chorizo sausage, fresh corn, sweet plantains and garbanzo beans in a cumin-citrus sauce served over yellow rice.
- Shrimp Creole - tender shrimp in a Caribbean creole sauce, chorizo sausage, sweet peppers, olives and tomatoes served over basmati rice.

ProFlowers in time for Mother's Day or Any Occasion
I was given a chance to checkout ProFlowers and I must say it was a very fun experience.
I am horrible when it comes to saying "I love you", and my mom constantly asks why I never say it to her. I always feel bad because it's not like I don't love her I just don't like saying it. So ProFlowers was my chance to say "I love you" and her to know it.
I picked out the Truly Spectacular Mom bouquet and added a note saying " I am sorry I never say I love you but I really do Love you, I love you mommy" and had them sent on a Friday because I know she would be home to get them.
I totally forgot about it and was at work when my mom called me crying saying how much she loved the flowers and how she is going to frame the card. I felt really good about sharing the flowers with my mom.
ProFlowers is a great site. You can order so many different flower arrangements, along with chocolates, teddy bears and more. At ProFlowers you can add a vase to your flowers or have them come as is, which is how I sent them to my mom. She said they came and she placed them in water which it has been 2 weeks now and they still look like new.
I like how you're able to pick out the flowers add items to the flowers, you can double your flowers and pick the day they are sent so you can make sure your family or friend will be there when they come.
ProFlowers is great for Mother's Day, Get Well, Birthday, or even Sympathy . ProFlowers has something for any occasion.

Can I do it?!?! Journey Gym Challenge!
USA Pans Brownie Bites Review
I was so super excited to get to try this new USA Cake Pan, which is available at Bed, Bath and Beyond. First of all, I love how heavy it is. It's solid and sturdy and I know it will be in my kitchen for YEARS which is really important to me. Since I have been married almost 20 years ago, I haven't really ever splurged on kitchen products, and when I think back, all the money I wasted by buying "cheap" products, I could have saved all that and just bought nice, durable, built-to-last products for the same price.
B
The Brownie Bites pan has 20 wells, and it is just the perfect size for a box of brownie mix.
The same day I received the pan, I couldn't wait to try it! I made brownies that night, it was so easy! The brownies came out taller than I had expected (not flat like most brownies).
The kids had so much fun with these, I love that it was a project we can do together and it's something different than basic brownies and all it takes is a box of mix!
Ingredients
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a USA Pan™ Brownie Bite Panel Pan with a non-stick spray.
In a large bowl, blend melted butter, sugar and vanilla. Beat in eggs one at a time. Combine the flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Gradually blend into the egg mixture. Fill each prepared brownie well two-thirds full with the batter.
Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean. Do not overbake. Let brownies cool completely and then run a plastic knife around the edges of the brownies to loosen. Gently remove brownies from pan.

I can also say these work GREAT for cake mixes and muffin mixes. I tried both and they were perfect, my kids LOVED the square cupcakes!
You can purchase USA Pans here, or at Macy's or Bed, Bath and Beyond.

I have been bowling many times with Paige and all the kids, and we have been to many bowling places. But nothing comes close to Kings Bowl.
Lets start with lights. When you think of a bowling alley you think bright, and dull. Nothing much going on. They have a shoe counter, maybe a few arcade games and a "snack" center. Kings Bowl is NOTHING like that. First off the lights are easy on the eyes with a nice dark feel to it with neon lighting up the lanes.
Josh, my husband, hates to bowl because, well, what else is there? Kings Bowl is a man's dream! So most men like to hang out with their friends at a bar because it has t.v.'s which play sports. Okay, so, take that and place it on huge plasma high definition t.v.'s above each bowling lane, the bar and then also in the billiards area oh yeah..... they have billiards also! Now tell me that is not a man's ideal spot!
To top off HUGE t.v's they also have a full service bar! Which while taking a break from it all and enjoying the media event they treated us to some of the drinks they have to offer.
My personal favorite (which it was a toss up between the Fish Bowl and the Tropical Tango) was the Tropical Tango. It's made for 4, but I must say I think I drank most of it. What's in the Tropical Tango? It has citrus, coconut and pineapple rums, apricot brandy, amaretto, fresh juices and a dark rum float. That is a whole lotta drink! The Fish Bowl is the same size and has fun stuff in it like coconut rum and monster energy drink they even top it off with fishes! So very very good!
The drinks were crazy either in size or idea, some had pop rocks like a Strawberry Pop Rocktini with strawberry pop rocks around the rim.
Another fun creation was the Fizzy Lifting Drink on which they have a beaker that they add dry ice to the drink making it steam out along with an everlasting gobstopper.
They also have some favorites like the Dude which taste like your white russian.
Not into bowling or billiards? That is totally fine because they have a full real food menu! I mean real food not hot dogs and pizza, but food! We also were able to sample a bunch of full meal menu items which included a rack of ribs, sliders, buffalo wings, shrimp with grouper, and so much more! It all was very good full of flavor. I would love to go back just to eat.
Kings Bowl is kid friendly til 6pm then after that they tame it down to 21 and over which they are open til 2am...........sounds like I have a place to go after working finally.
I also forgot to mention on top of having all this the lanes are sectioned off for 2 parties to play, each has a shoe holder which is great because that is another annoying thing at normal bowling areas is your tripping over your own shoes.
Kings Bowl also offers a VIP room for your own personal party which can be rented per hour or day. The VIP room can hold 50-100 guests.

Veggie Tales The Little House That Stood DVD Review
When I was pregnant for the first time I remember sitting in the waiting room at the OB/GYN, and I saw in the kids section some dancing veggies. I thought that it was some kids show to teach kids about eating veggies, I was so wrong. I found out the name the next time I was in the office that it was called Veggie Tales. Now me and my 5 kids truly enjoy Veggie Tales.
Veggie Tales now has a all new movie called The Little House That Stood which kind of follows the 3 little pigs tale. The one builder builds with straw the other brick and finally the last with sticks. The builders who build with both brick and straw do not care to listen to the book that the best builder had wrote yet the one with straw read it word for word making the best of all.
The idea is that we should read god's word and if we follow it then we can all stand tall and get through anything that comes our way.
The 3 little pigs do make an appearance and so does the big bad wolf in the story of the Three Little Builders.
After the first story in the Veggie Tales tales DVD you have Larry's silly songs which are just that. Fun little songs that the kids are sure to love. The DVD ends with a fun rhyme which stars Bob as Humpty Dumpty who is the mayor of basically mother goose rhymes so you have fun watching all the kids favorite nursery rhymes come to life as they learn a life lesson of loving and carrying for your neighbors.
Veggie Tales is a great show/movie for all kids of all ages not only does it teach about god it also teaches on how to treat others the way you wish to be treated. All Veggie Tales are ended with a bible verse which helps sum up everything that has been taught in the DVD.
Disclosure: I was given a copy of the Veggie Tales Dvd to help with my review. All opinions are 100% mine.
