Since my husband lost his job last month, we have been trying to not eat out at ALL to save money.
Which means, I have to come up with 7 nights of meals (seriously used to be like 3) and we like alot of variety.
Plus, we don't eat beef or pork, so we are limited there too, and husband doesn't like pasta.
I was really excited to find Char Crust, because they come in many flavor varieties and all I have to do is rub a packet onto whatever protein I am cooking and either grill it, or broil it.
I decided to use the Southwest Chipotle flavor on a whole chicken, I gave it a good rub of the seasoning packet and baked it.
The whole family LOVED the chicken, it was delicious.
I couldn't believe how easy it was, so the next night we made salmon and used the Ginger Teriyaki packet, and it was delicious as well, and normally we need lots of lemon on our fish, but this was perfect just the way it was made.
Char Crust Dry Rub Seasonings come in several other flavors.
- Original Hickory Grilled
- Roasted Garlic Peppercorn
- Java Buzz
- All American Barbeque
- Ginger Teriyaki
- Southwest Chipotle
- Amazin' Cajun
- Sundried Tomato and Garlic
- Hickory and Mollases
- Roto Roast
