Butler Soy Curls Review

Soy Curls.
What are Soy Curls you ask?

Soy Curls are a delicious alternative to meat, for those who are vegan/vegetarian or just trying to be health conscious.

Soy Curls make great Fajitas, Sandwiches, Stir Fry, Soups and BBQ!

I decided to try mine as shown in the photo above, because before I became a semi-vegetarian, I LOVED pulled-pork sandwiches, and I miss them alot. I used the curls in place of the pork, and cooked it the same seasonings and it was DELICIOUS!

The soy curls actually had the same texture as pulled pork (though a little tiny bit tougher) but it was really good, and I love how healthy it is.

You can also purchase a Chik-Style Seasoning which makes the soy curls very much resemble and taste like chicken.

Here is the recipe I used, thanks Soy Curls for providing it.

Homestyle BBQ Soy Curls

¼ cup olive oil
2 large onions, chopped
4 garlic cloves, diced
2 small cans tomato paste
2 cups brown sugar or natural sweetener
2 Tbsp molasses
3 tsp salt
1 cup lemon juice
4 Tbsp soy sauce
5 cups Butler Soy Curls
4-6 cups water to cover ingredients

Directions:
Add all ingredients to crock pot.
Add more water as needed to keep Soy Curls
from drying out as they cook.
Cook on high in the crock pot for 5 or
more hours.

Toast a bun, top with coleslaw, and enjoy!

Serves 6-8

You can purchase Butler Soy Curls at most health food stores, or online here.
