She remembers sitting on a stool and ordering a chocolate soda and says it was one of the best things in the world. I have always wished I could live that experience with her, I remember back when I was a kid and there was a soda that was reminiscent of the drugstore soda, but my mom said it wasn't quite the same.
Then, we saw Arizona's Chocolate Fudge Soda in the store. I HAD to buy one and share it with my mom. I took it home and refrigerated it until it was ice cold, and then we cracked it open and poured it into 2 glasses.
I watched my mom take the first sip, and she smiled bigger than I have seen in many years..I could tell she was reliving her youth and I got teary eyed watching it.

Now, it was my turn. I took a sip, and closed my eyes...trying to feel how it must have felt for my mom so many years ago..and I transported myself back into her time..sitting on a big stool and sipping a perfect soda.
Since I have nothing to compare it to, I can't honestly say that it is just like soda shops of the past..but my mom says it's very very close.
Thank you Mom, and Arizona for giving me the wonderful memory of Chocolate Fudge Soda.
