Kauffman's Fruit Farm Review

One thing I can't resist when my husband and I travel is stopping at fruit stands. I guess growing up in the Pacific Northwest had something to do with that, my mom used to stop at them on the way to the beach when I was growing up, and a car ride never feels complete without at least one stop.

So, when I heard about the Kauffman's Fruit Farm website, I knew I had to take a look.

What I found were some of the most delicious sounding fruit items that I had ever heard of. The first thing I wanted to try was the Apple Butters. They come in a few different varieties like Strawberry and Raspberry.

The one I tried was the Strawberry.

I decided to try it on some whole wheat toast and it was delicious. We have since also become very addicted to the Apple Butter on peanut butter sandwiches.

The second item I opted to try was the Rustic Apple Tart Mix. I have always been a tart lover, I am not so crazy about pies..too much crust..but give me a good tart and I'm happy.

The tart mix is very easy to use. All it requires is butter, apples, cinnamon and sugar.
I haven't made it yet because Apples are not in season right now, but when they are back, watch for my updated post with photos.

Other than the 2 items I tried, Kauffman's Fruit Farm also has  dried apples, apple cider,  and Dutch country favorites.

You can see and purchase all their items here.
