Striped Shirt its not Just A Striped Shirt! Review and Giveaway!

So being we have a big family nice clothes for myself are few and far between. I often purchase most of my shirts from Walmart which are very basic, lightweight and, well,  cheap. I was happy to be getting a new shirt from Striped Shirt.

I got the package in the mail and because I was thinking  "its just a shirt" I was in no rush to open it. Me and my husband were going out for the night so I was like what the hey I will open it. I open it and right away I can feel the quality of the shirt, its not anything like a Walmart shirt. It is very thick its 95% cotton and 5% spandex it is soft as well very full feeling. I put it on and though I am not a round neck person I normally prefer the V-neck styles, I was impressed on how well it hugs the curves of my body as well as make my boobs look great : )

I love the colors that I received which are Maroon and Gold which I thought made me look slimmer, the selves on the shirt felt more thick and longer then a normal shirt so there was no falling off the shoulder. I just really loved the shirt and since it is basic I can pair it up with almost any type of bottoms. I also put on a necklace I had bought that made the shirt stand out I think.

I will for sure be buying more shirts from them in the future. There is nothing better then a plain Striped Shirt. You can take a look and purchase one for yourself here.

Smoobee Hair Brush! Review and Giveaway!

My kids have been calling my hair brush the "cat brush" because now a days most brushes have the pin like prongs,  so how great was it to receive a Smoobee No Cry hair brush! I love it.

Attune Foods Uncle Sam Cereal Review

Buying cereal for the kids is easy. Anything sugar coated and they are in LOVE. Buying cereal for me and my husband is harder though. I hate buying 2 boxes, and I wish we could both find one we can agree on. 

My husband, being diabetic, has to have something on the low-glycemic index, which Uncle Sam Cereal is just that. 

 

We tried the original and the Raisin Bran, and both are delicious as well as good for you. 

The original has whole wheat flakes along with whole toasted flax seed, that's all whole grains there!

Like Casey, I am trying to start my own weight loss program. It's designed by me and has a combination of several diet plans, custom fit to my needs. 

So, I can use all the help I can get. And I am very excited to tell you guys about a product called Body Media.

What it is, is a watch-like device that you put on your arm, and wear it all day as you eat, work, play and exercise. 
At the end of the day, it gives you all these little stats, like how many calories you consumes, how many you burned, what the difference in ratio is between the two, how much activity you did and how much sleep you got. 

Then, it tells you what you should do, like you really need more activity, or you are about even..which is great, because I am always the first one to say "i did enough" when I probably didn't.

Airheads USA Orlando, Florida Review and Giveaway

When my kids were little they loved to bounce on moon walk type bounce houses. Now that they are getting older, they are getting a little too big for them, so I have been actively looking for something they can do for exercise. Homeschool kids need a lot more time spent being active than public school children, plus the benefit of my kids getting to interact with others their own age is great too. 

When I heard of Airheads USA in Orlando, Florida, I was excited. First of all, it's only 20 minutes from my house (which is in Disney's backyard). Second, it's a trampoline arena, so it's going to keep my kids active for a while, and third, free wi-fi, this is SO important to Casey and I since we spend alot of time blogging, it's nice to find a place the kids can go and we can sit and relax. 

Or so I thought. 

Upon entering the arena, the kids took off on us faster than we could say "wait" they were all excited, all except Elizabeth, but she is still stuck on her mom's leg..so that was not surpsising. 

Casey and I took our seats, which were down on the "floor" in front of the arena, there was also bleacher style seating up where the kids get into the trampolines, but Casey and I were fine where we were. 

Once the kids got in, and started playing, Casey decided to take Elizabeth up there to jump (yes, parents can bounce too!)..she was gone for 20 minutes! Casey isn't one to do that, I assumed she was having a hard time getting Elizabeth to enjoy herself..but NO. Casey came back to the table, sweaty, laughing and bright red. I looked at her..like she was crazy..and she laughed "it's SO much fun!" 

Great. Now she would be on ME to get up there and try too..well it wasn't her I had to worry about, the kids all started asking me to go up, so I did...with one foot on the trampoline, I was HOOKED, it was awesome! 

I bounced, and bounced, and played with the kids, chasing them, and bouncing with Elizabeth, Joshua, Michael, Brian, Xander and Riley..until I was red, sweaty, and laughing. 

I had no idea I would have such a good time, I figured it would be a place I could relax, and it turned out to be so much more.

Hallmark Valentine's Day Cards and Until We HUG Again Bear Review and Giveaway

Hallmark has asked me to tell you guys about some of the new products they have this Valentine's Day. 

First off, is the Until We Hug Again Bear. I am IN LOVE with this bear. You record your voice (or in my case, your childs) and it "locks in" the recording to be played over and over again. I plan on keeping mine in my Hope Chest for my kids when they get older to pass on to their children. He retails for about $29.99

Xander did the recording for me in his room and it says "Hi Mom, I love you very much and I will always love you more than anything in the world" tooo sweet..I am saving that forever.


The second item I received was Justin Beiber Valentine's Day Cards. What tween girl wouldn't love a card featuring J Beiber? 

 

Riley actually LOVES one of the cards and has claimed it his own, it plays the song "Baby, Baby, Baby" and lights up when opened. They retail for about $6.99

The third item I received was the Special Delivery Cards for Kids. They are super adorable card holders that are made from fabric, so they are reuseable. I will personally be hanging these on our wall because they are absolutely adorable. They retail for $6.99

Finally I received a selection of Hallmark cards, all for giving to a child on Valentine's Day. I am a firm believer that Valentine's Day isn't just for grown ups, I have always given my kids Valentine's Day cards, and I love that with Hallmark I can give them something they can cherish forever.
