Sore muscles, sprained ankle, blow to the head? I have done this oh so many times that I have become numb to the pain. I was super happy to receive this wonderful idea from Thermal Aid which is a bean bag in 3 sections that can be hot or cold.
I have been extremely busy these last few weeks picking up extra hours because of the Holidays (along with raising 5 kids) so it was nice to come home and have a heating pack that I didn't have to worry about catching on fire like most you plug in. The heating and cooling pack works by placing the bag in the microwave for 2-3 minutes or placing it in the freezer for 5 hours.
Thermal Aid made the heating/cooling pad 100% Natural, this means everything is safe and easy to use without worry of chemicals. How it works is there are micro beads which are made of a corn base, and when placed in the microwave or freezer the beads are able to capture the temperature and hold it for many hours so you can get that relief you so very much needed.
I used it on my leg, because after work they would swell up from standing to long and not drinking enough water. Oh the relief I felt when I placed a heated pack on it. I like how well it fit the curves of the leg so no part was not getting the heating it was well distributed and did not burn.
The Thermal Aid heating and cooling pack is very simple to wash. Just run some water over it, mild soap and let it dry. Make sure it is completely dry before using again. It can be used on adults, children, and pets!
So let's get to the best part.....Thermal Aid is offering one winner the chance to win their own Heating and Cooling pack! Even better yet not only is it open to U.S. residents but Canada as well! So enter today in the rafflecopter below. Giveaway will end December 21st 2012.
