The Rise of the Guardians Book Set Review

A couple of weeks ago we took our boys to see "The Rise of the Guardians" movie.

Both Xander and Riley were excited, because they love Christmas movies, and this one was no exception.

They both thought that "The Sandman" was the best character, and I have to agree. He was very funny and a great addition.

Not coincidentally, a couple of days after seeing the movie, I was asked if I would be interested in read ing the book set with my kids.
Wait.
What?
Book Set?

This was a book?

Yep, Not just A book..3 books!

I received the books a few days ago, and we have started reading book 1 which is
"Nicholas St. North and the Battle of the Nightmare King"

So far, both Xander and Riley love it, they are both still young, so i was worried that at 6 and 7 years old they would have a hard time following the book, but so far so good! Everynight we read 10 pages, and at the end they are begging me to keep on reading.

The second book is called
"Easter Bunnymund and the Warrior Eggs at the Earth's Core"

And finally, book number three is
"Toothiana Queen of the Tooth Fairy Armies"

I definitely recommend getting these books for your child, they keep the magic of Santa, and other magical creatures alive, and they are fun to read year round.

  1. There are a couple of picture books in the series, too, and they're absolutely gorgeous. They have the origins of the Man in the Moon and the Sandman.
