Escapes- Music for Relaxing by Jeff Gold Review and Giveaway

As I have blogged about before, my 6 year old Riley has been diagnosed with "on the spectum" autism.
He is OK most of the time, normal everyday kid..but he has triggers that will set him off. When he is set off, he is inconsolable, he bangs on things, throws things, and is just really unhappy.
I have learned for the most part how to avoid a lot of the triggers, but Riley seems to have a hard time riding in the car, and we can't avoid that.

He doesn't like enclosed spaces very much.
When I was offered a CD that helps with Autism I was intrigued.
I was hoping this would be what I needed for the car rides.

When I got the CD, by http://www.jeffgoldmusic.com/ I stuck it in my CD player in my car one day when we had a particularly long ride.

Riley didn't take to it right away. He is very picky about what he listens to, and he assumed right away he wouldn't like it.
He really likes Big Time Rush.
Autistic kids are known for falling in love with ONE thing and nothing else, and sticking with the one thing for months at a time until moving on to something else.

I let him get used to the CD and noticed after about 20 minutes he was quiet, he was just looking out of his window, and didn't seem to be bothered by the long ride.

This was the first time in almost a year that I was able to have a quiet ride, I think the CD really calmed him, and the more we have used it, the more he likes it.

I would definitely recommend this CD by Jeff Gold, or any of his other CD's.
They are also good for meditation and relaxing.
