Since my mother eats Gluten Free, I have had my fair share of gluten free foods.
Years ago, when there was no such thing as a "gluten free cookie"
My mother and I made them with things like chick pea and almond flour.
The result wasn't horrible, but not very appetizing, and VERY expensive.
Even though my family doesn't eat gluten free, Riley is showing signs of celiac, so we give him no wheat flour whenever possible.
So I was very happy to review Dr Lucy's Gluten Free Cookies.
When the box came, both kids were very excited, they wanted to try the brownies first.
Now, I have had a gluten free brownie before, so I didn't have high hopes.
Seriously, If i didn't know they were gluten free, I would have had NO idea, except for the fact that they are a little drier than a normal brownie, the FLAVOR is right on.

Next we tried the cookies, and again, they are crispy (it's really hard to get a good soft gluten free cookie to taste right!) but really close in flavor to the wheat filled variety.
Both kids LOVE the Dr Lucy's and I love to know that I am giving them great snacks.
