Do you have a Tom Girl? Review and Giveaway!

A tomgirl is similar to a tomboy in that she likes to play sports, climb trees and be rough - and can keep up with the boys. However, while a tomboy likes to wear baggy clothes and not embrace her gender, the tomgirl cleans up nicely and puts pride into her personal appearance. So true, and Elizabeth is just that. A tomgirl. She loves to play in the dirt but look good while doing it!

TomGirls Clothing has a great line of clothing. I chose to review the "Trifle Dress" which is great looking and moves freely with your child! It is a lightweight fabric that bounces and breathes making it easy to play in any weather while looking great!

The smallest size offered for Tomgirl clothing is a size 2, then there is 4, 6, 8, and 10. I went with a 4 because Elizabeth will be 3 this Christmas, and I wanted the dress to last awhile. I got the dress and put it on her. It's a bit big but again she will be 3 and it fits a 4-5 year old. I loved how great it looks even being over sized for her you can tell next year it will fit like a charm.

Elizabeth had fun running around in the dress because it would bounce!

The Trifle Dress is made with high quality beautiful cascading ruffles. The fabric has some stretch to it for a comfortable versatile wear. Dress it up or dress it down. Your girl is sure to feel pretty as a princess and as comfy as a Tom Girl. I chose the light blue, it also comes in ivory and white. I did wash the dress to see how well it would hold up and it held up great, didn't absorb any other colors, no shrinkage, it's like new! I love the dress and cannot wait for next year when it will be the perfect fit!

Disclosure: I was given the Trifle Dress to help with my review. All opinions are 100% mine.

  1. My daughter is definitely a Tomgirl. There are mostly boys in our neighborhood so she's rough and tumble but also with pretty pink nails. Thanks for the giveaway.

  2. That's a cute (and practical) idea! YOur daughter is sooo adorable!!
